Career

Bajpai’s journey in electronic media began in 1996 when he joined Aaj Tak. He spent seven years there before moving to NDTV in 2003 for a tenure of fourteen months. Following this, he served as the Editor-in-Chief of Sahara Samay from 2007 to 2008.

After his stint at Sahara Samay, Bajpai worked at Zee News for four years as a prime-time anchor and editor before returning to Aaj Tak. However, his time hosting Masterstroke on ABP News was short-lived as he resigned just four months later on August 1, 2018, citing alleged political pressure on the news channel.

In February 2019, he joined Surya Samachar as Editor-in-Chief, where he hosted the shows Jai Hind and Satta. Subsequently, he left Surya Samachar. Bajpai’s presence on social media was notable, particularly on Twitter, where he was recognized as one of the ten most active Indian journalists in 2015. Since 2019, he has been running his own news channel on YouTube.
