Poornima Ravi started her YouTube channel named Araathi on 2 July 2019, where she began posting comedy videos about women, IPL, and other situations. Her channel quickly gained popularity, and her acting skills were well-received by the public.
In 2023, Poornima appeared as a contestant in the reality show Bigg Boss Tamil season 7, hosted by Kamal Haasan. The show is broadcast on Star Vijay and streamed on Disney+ Hotstar. Poornima made her debut in the Tamil film industry with the role of Radha in “Plan Panni Pannanum” in 2021. She also played a key role in “Chota” in 2022.
