Initially, she worked odd jobs like housekeeping, sales, and assisting in libraries. In the early 2000s, she had minor roles in films like Chandra Chakori (2003) and Gaalipata (2008). However, her breakthrough came with the 2009 Telugu TV serial Jokali, where she gained recognition.
Over the years, Pavithra continued to work in the entertainment industry. She appeared in the 2020 TV serial Robo Family on Colors Kannada. In 2021, she tied the knot for the second time with her co-actor Chandrakanth.
Her journey in acting expanded further with roles in the 2022 Kannada film Melobba Mayavi and the 2023 TV serial Swarna Palace on Zee Telugu. Alongside acting, Pavithra pursued her passion for documentary filmmaking.
In 2024, she was involved in the TV show Trinayani on Zee Telugu, where her husband Chandrakanth played her on-screen brother. Pavithra was known for her dedication to fitness, often sharing gym session pictures, and for her love of travel and dance.
