Career

Nithiin began his acting journey in 2002 with the film “Jayam,” directed by Teja. His performance garnered attention, leading to subsequent roles in successful films like “Dil” and “Sambaram” in the same year. In 2004, he starred in “Sri Anjaneyam,” marking his debut as a dubbed dialogue artist.

However, his streak of success took a downturn from 2005 to 2011, with several consecutive films failing to make an impact at the box office. Despite this rough patch, Nithiin’s perseverance paid off in 2012 with the romantic drama “Ishq,” which marked his comeback to stardom.

In the following years, Nithiin continued to shine in films like “Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde,” “Chinnadana Nee Kosam,” and “Heart Attack.” His role in “A Aa” in 2016 became one of the biggest hits of his career.

In 2017, Nithiin appeared in “LIE,” followed by “Chal Mohan Ranga” and “Srinivasa Kalyanam” in 2018, which received mixed responses. His 2020 film “Bheeshma” was a commercial success, further solidifying his position in the industry.

In 2021, Nithiin starred in “Check,” “Rang De,” and “Maestro,” receiving praise for his performance in the latter. However, his film “Macherla Niyojakavargam” faced negative reviews and box office disappointment.
