Early Life

Mrunal Thakur came into this world on 1 August 1992 in Dhule, Maharashtra. She went to school at St. Joseph’s Convent School in Jalgaon and later attended Vasant Vihar High School near Mumbai. Even though she started her college journey at KC College, she left without finishing her degree because she was focused on building a career in television.

Career

During her college days, Thakur got a big role in a Star Plus series called “Mujhse Kuchh Kehti…Yeh Khamoshiyaan” as Gauri Bhosle alongside Mohit Sehgal, Manit Joura, Utkarsha Naik, Resham Tipnis & Shruti Ulfat. This show aired from 2012 to 2013. Afterward, in 2013, she appeared in an episode of “Har Yug Mein Aayega Ek – Arjun” as Sakshi Anand, a journalist alongside Shaleen Malhotra, Behzaad Khan, Ritu Chauhan, Sana Makbul, Rohit Purohit, Ketan Karande, Rajesh Kumar, Kishwer Merchant & Bipasha Basu.

In February 2014, Thakur joined the cast of Zee TV’s soap opera “Kumkum Bhagya,” where she played Bulbul Arora Khanna alongside Sriti Jha, Shabbir Ahluwalia, Mugdha Chaphekar, Shikha Singh, Krishna Kaul, Mrunal Thakur, Ankit Mohan, Pooja Banerjee, Arjit Taneja, Shraddha Arya, Anjum Fakih, Surbhi Jyoti & Ekta Kapoor.
