In 1995, Soman appeared in Alisha Chinai’s music video “Made in India.” That same year, he made his television debut in “A Mouthful of Sky.” Later, he was featured in the Indian science fiction TV Series “Captain Vyom” and also appeared in the TV series “Sea Hawks.”

Over the years, Soman has worked in various films, including “Pachaikili Muthucharam,” “Paiyaa,” “Agni Varsha,” and “Rules: Pyaar Ka Superhit Formula,” which he also produced. He has also acted in English and foreign language films such as “Valley of Flowers,” “The Flag,” and “Arn – The Knight Templar,” where he portrayed Saladin.
