Career

After completing her education in Delhi, Chopra began her career in Mumbai, initially venturing into modeling before transitioning into advertising. She appeared in numerous commercials, including ones for Suzuki with Salman Khan, Dulux paints with Farhan Akhtar, and Parle Marie with Imtiaz Ali. Notably, she worked alongside her cousin Priyanka Chopra in three commercials, gaining recognition for her work, especially in a Dabur Amla commercial. Her success in advertising opened doors for her in Telugu films.

In 2014, Mannara Chopra ventured into acting, signing up for films in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada. She made her acting debut in Telugu cinema with “Prema Geema Jantha Nai,” portraying a talkative college-going girl. The same year marked her Hindi debut with “Zid,” where she portrayed an obsessive lover, earning mixed reviews for her performance. Despite this, the film was commercially successful.

Chopra continued to expand her career in 2015, making special appearances in songs in Tamil films “Sandamarutham” and “Kaaval.”

Her career further expanded from 2016 to 2022, with notable appearances in Telugu and Kannada cinema. She received accolades for her roles, including a Special Jury Award at the Santosham Film Awards for her performance in “Thikka” (2016) and “Rogue” (2017).
