Madonna Sebastian, known for her roles in Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu cinema, began her journey in the entertainment industry with her passion for music. She showcased her singing talent in various platforms like Music Mojo and collaborated with renowned composers like Deepak Dev and Gopi Sunder.

Her acting career kickstarted unexpectedly when director Alphonse Putharen spotted her hosting a program on Surya TV and invited her to audition for his romantic film Premam. Despite initial reluctance, Madonna auditioned and was considered for the role of Mary. However, she insisted on playing Celine’s character, which ultimately went to Anupama Parameswaran.

Following her debut in Premam, Madonna ventured into Tamil cinema opposite Vijay Sethupathi in Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum in 2016, which received mixed reviews but was a moderate success at the box office. She also starred in King Liar alongside Dileep, marking her second Malayalam film.

In the same year, Madonna reprised her role for the Telugu remake of Premam, making her debut in Telugu cinema. Despite being an average success, it marked her entry into the Telugu film industry.

Madonna’s collaboration with Vijay Sethupathi continued in 2017 with the Tamil film Kavan, which garnered positive reviews. She also appeared in Dhanush’s directorial debut Power Paandi, both of which were commercially successful.
