Kriti Kharbanda, born on October 29, 1990, hails from a Punjabi Hindu family in New Delhi. Her younger sister is named Ishita Kharbanda, and she has a younger brother named Jaiwardhan Kharbanda, who co-founded Paper Plane Productions. In the early 1990s, Kriti and her family relocated to Bangalore.

Her educational journey included attending Baldwin Girls’ High School and Bishop Cotton Girls’ School in Bangalore. Kharbanda completed her graduation from Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College, Bangalore, and also earned a diploma in jewellery designing.

Throughout her school and college days, Kharbanda actively participated in cultural activities. Even as a child, she appeared in several advertisements, continuing her modeling gigs during her academic years. Notably, her presence on a Spar billboard caught the eye of NRI director Raj Pippala, who was in search of a leading lady for his film. This opportunity marked the beginning of Kriti’s acting career.

Despite not initially planning to become an actress, Kriti credits her mother’s encouragement for her serious consideration of acting. Her early modeling campaigns included notable brands like Bhima Jewellers, Spar, and Fair & Lovely. Career

During her school and college days, Kriti actively participated in cultural activities. She started her journey as a child model and continued during her academic years, featuring in advertisements for brands like Bhima Jewellers, Spar, and Fair & Lovely. Her appearance on a Spar billboard caught the attention of director Raj Pippala, leading to her debut in the Telugu film “Boni” opposite Sumanth.

Despite mixed reviews for “Boni,” Kriti received praise for her performance. She later appeared in the Pawan Kalyan film “Teen Maar” and made her Kannada debut with “Chirru,” gaining recognition and admiration.

In 2011, Kriti had a guest role in the Telugu film “Ala Modalaindi” and portrayed retro scenes in “Teen Maar.” The following years marked her presence in Telugu and Kannada cinema, with notable films like “Googly,” where her portrayal of a medical student received acclaim.
