Early Life

Hruta Durgule was born on 12 September 1993. Originally from Ratnagiri, she spent her childhood in Mumbai. She completed her education at Ramnarain Ruia College in Matunga, Mumbai. Currently, she resides in Thane.

Career

Durgule’s career kicked off when she worked as an assistant director on the show Pudhcha Paaul. It was during this time that she caught the attention of Rasika Deodhar, a casting director who was on the lookout for fresh faces for her upcoming show. Durgule auditioned for the lead role and landed the part in Durva, which aired on Star Pravah.

In 2017, she found success in the series Phulpakharu, broadcasted on Zee Yuva, where she starred for approximately 2.5 years. Following this, in 2018, she joined the cast of the drama Dada Ek Good News Ahey, sharing the screen with actors like Umesh Kamat, Rishi Manohar, and Aarti More. The play, produced by Priya Bapat, marked another milestone in her career.

Durgule also ventured into the world of short films, portraying the character of Mrunmayee (aka Chiu) in Strawberry Shake, released on ZEE5 Premium during the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2020, she expanded her horizons by hosting the show Singing Star on Sony Marathi, marking her debut as a host.

In 2022, she made her debut in the Marathi film industry with the movie Ananya, produced by Ravi Jadhav. Continuing her presence on television, she portrayed the character of Deepika Deshpande in the series Man Udu Udu Zhala, aired on Zee Marathi from 2021 to 2022. Adding another feather to her cap, she was part of the Marathi movie Timepass 3, released on 29 July 2022.
