Harshita Gaur was born in New Delhi into a family of doctors. She completed her engineering studies at Amity University, Noida, where she was actively involved in drama and creative societies. Her modeling career began while she was still studying engineering, and she received an offer to act in the television show “Sadda Haq,” which marked her debut. She successfully managed to balance her acting career with her studies.

Gaur is a trained Kathak dancer and has performed in stage shows across India. She has appeared in numerous commercials, including those for Dabur Vatika hair oil, Garnier light cream, Sunsilk, and Renault Kwid. In 2018, she gained significant recognition for her role as Dimpy Pandit in the Amazon Prime web series “Mirzapur,” which received widespread acclaim. She reprised her role in the second season of the series.
