Kaufman was born in Los Angeles, California on April 29, 2002. Her parents, David Kaufman and Lisa Picotte, are both actors. She also has a younger brother named Henry, who is also an actor.
Her first acting role was in the 2009 stage production of Meet Me in St. Louis at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center. In 2012, Kaufman received the Best Actress award at the HollyShorts Film Festival. Later, in 2014, she won the Discovery Award at the Traverse City Film Festival.
Kaufman’s film credits include Sister (2014), where she portrayed Nikki Presser, and The Sky Is Everywhere (2022), where she played the role of Lennie Walker. Additionally, she appeared in the film Resurrection (2022).
