Career
She made her debut in Bollywood with the movie “Dil Diya Hai” in 2006, starring alongside Emraan Hashmi. In the film, she portrayed a character who is tragically forced into prostitution by her lover. Following this, she appeared in “The Train” in 2007, once again starring opposite Emraan Hashmi. In this movie, she played Roma, a working woman entangled in an extramarital affair.
Basra also appeared in a music video for the song “Ghum Sum Ghum Sum” by Sukshinder Shinda and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. In the video, she portrayed the love interest of the male lead, played by Rahul Bhat.
