Career
In 2004, Daljeet Kaur won the title of Miss Pune and was a finalist in several other pageants, including Miss Navy, Miss Mumbai, and Miss Maharashtra Queen. She began her television career with a role in the Zee TV drama “Manshaa”. Subsequently, she appeared in shows like C.I.D., Aahat, and Raat Hone Ko Hai. In 2005, she made a cameo appearance in “Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai” before landing her first protagonist role in “Kulvaddhu” as Niyati, a young girl from a royal Jodhpur family.
After “Kulvaddhu”, Daljeet played Shikha in “Chhoona Hai Aasmaan” and appeared in Star Plus’ “Santaan” from 2007 to 2009. In 2008, she participated in and won the fourth season of the dance reality show “Nach Baliye” with her ex-husband Shalin Bhanot. In 2011, she portrayed Anjali in Star Plus’ “Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?” and later appeared in shows like “Saath Nibhaana Saathiya” (2012), “Sasural Simar Ka”, and “Rangrasiya” (2013).
Daljeet made her television comeback with the role of Janki in Colors TV’s “Swaragini – Jodein Rishton Ke Sur”. She later made episodic appearances in Life OK’s “Savdhaan India” and played one of the leads in Zee TV’s “Kaala Teeka” from 2015 to 2017. In 2017, she portrayed Aadishakti in “Maa Shakti” and played a supporting lead in Star Plus’ “Qayamat Ki Raat” in 2018. She also appeared in “Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka” and “Vikram Betaal Ki Rahasya Gatha”.
In 2019, Daljeet took on the role of antagonist Antara Rawat in the Zee TV show “Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega”. She also appeared as a celebrity contestant in the thirteenth season of “Bigg Boss”, the Indian version of the reality TV show “Big Brother”. In May 2021, Daljeet appeared in the music video “Befikar Raho” alongside Umar Riaz, which she also produced.
