Career

Claudia Ciesla began her modeling career at the age of 15, participating in fashion shows and dance events. In March 2006, she gained significant recognition by winning a subscribers’ poll on multiple German internet platforms, earning her the title of Germany’s Super Girl 2006. By November 2007, she had expressed her intention to pursue a career as a tax consultant after her modeling days.

During the 2007–2008 tourist season, Ciesla represented Damüls, Austria, known as the snow-richest tourist ski village in the world, serving as the Snow Queen 2008. She made numerous promotional appearances and participated in photo shoots for magazines, advertisements, and brochures, including a cover shoot for “MOTOR-Freizeit and TRENDS” in Austria.

In 2007 and 2008, Ciesla appeared in the German internet soap opera “Beach House,” playing the character Daisy Vandenburg. She then ventured into Bollywood, acting in the film “Karma” alongside Carlucci Weyant and Alma Saraci. Film director M.S. Shahjahan hinted at more Bollywood assignments for Ciesla in the future.

In July 2008, she played “Claudia” in the Italian television sitcom “Outsiders in Palermo,” which was shot in Palermo. She later portrayed a German journalist in the film “10:10,” directed by Arin Paul, co-starring Soumitra Chatterjee.

Ciesla was honored as the Brand Ambassador of Lovely Professional University (LPU), which recognized her as a “New promising foreign face in India.” She also promoted her Punjabi film at Thapar University during their technical fest, Aranya. On 26 November 2009, Ciesla received the prestigious Karmaveer Puraskaar from iCONGO for her contributions to social justice and action, joining the ranks of previous recipients like Kajol, Alyque Padamsee, Rahul Bose, Remo Fernandes, and M S Swaminathan.

Ciesla participated in the reality show “Bigg Boss 3,” which began airing on 4 October 2009 with Amitabh Bachchan as the host. She spent 10 weeks on the show and was evicted on day 68. In December 2010, she took part in the TV show “Zor Ka Jhatka: Total Wipeout,” the Indian celebrity version of “Wipeout,” hosted by Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan. The show concluded on 25 February 2011, with Kushal Punjabi winning and Ciesla finishing as the runner-up.

In 2012, Ciesla made her first mainstream Bollywood appearance in the item song “Balma,” sharing screen space with Akshay Kumar in the film “Khiladi 786.” The song was composed by Himesh Reshammiya and choreographed by Ganesh Acharya. In 2016, she appeared in “Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3,” the third part of the successful Bollywood franchise “Kyaa Kool Hain Hum.” She was last seen dancing in a lively number alongside Krushna Abhishek in the film “Teri Bhabhi Hai Pagle.”
