Career

Ayeza Khan started her career by participating in the “Pantene Shine Princess” contest during her school days, where she became the first runner-up. This led to her receiving offers to work as a model in various advertisements, particularly in the telecom industry. She gradually shifted her focus to modeling and began accepting more offers while still in college, ultimately deciding to pursue a career in showbiz instead of continuing her studies.

In 2009, Khan appeared in the comedy-drama “Tum Jo Miley” in a supporting role opposite Fahad Mustafa and Sunita Marshal. The following year, she landed her first leading role in the drama serial “Pul Sirat”. Her breakthrough came in 2011 when she starred in the Geo TV romantic drama “Tootay Huway Per” in a leading role.

In 2014, Khan’s performance in the drama serial “Pyaray Afzal” earned her the Best Actress Award at Lux Style Awards. Despite receiving offers from Bollywood, she declined them and took a hiatus from the industry after her marriage.

After a two-year break, Khan returned to television with the tragic romance “Tum Kon Piya” in 2016 opposite Imran Abbas. She also appeared in the serial “Koi Chand Rakh” alongside Imran Abbas, Muneeb Butt, and Areeba Habib. Her portrayal of the character in the romantic drama “Meray Paas Tum Ho” earned her the Pakistan International Screen Award for Best Television Actress in 2019–20.

In 2021, Khan showcased her versatility by portraying a happy-go-lucky character in the comedy serial “Chupke Chupke” opposite Osman Khalid Butt. She received acclaim for her on-screen chemistry with Butt and won awards including the Hum Award for Best Actress and Lux Style Award for Best TV Actress.

However, in 2023, her performance in “Mein” directed by Badar Mehmood received criticism from both critics and audiences. In 2023, Khan was portraying the character of Mahnoor in “Jaan-e-Jahan” opposite Hamza Ali Abbasi, marking their second collaboration after “Pyaray Afzal”.
