Turan’s mom hails from Sinop, and her family moved from Thessaloniki, Greece, to mainland Turkey after the Ottoman Empire fell during the Greek conquest of the city. On the other hand, her dad is from Kastamonu. She is the youngest among seven siblings, consisting of five boys and two girls.

At a young age, Turan developed an interest in both acting and playing the violin. As she grew older, she pursued her passion by studying film at Istanbul University’s Faculty of Communication, specifically in the Department of Radio, TV, and Cinema.

Career
