Career

Apurva Nemlekar made her television debut in 2011 with the Marathi series “Aabhas Ha,” playing the role of Aarya. That same year, she participated in the dance reality show “Ekapeksha Ek.” In 2013, she starred as Pooja in the Marathi television show “Aradhana,” which aired on Star Pravah.

In 2019, Apurva began appearing in the Marathi television show “Ratris Khel Chale 2” as Shevanta. She later played the role of Pummy in “Tuza Maza Jamtay” from November 2020 to February 2021. She was recast as Shevanta in the third season of “Ratris Khel Chale,” which aired from March 2021 to October 2021. However, she left the show due to payment issues with the producers. Apurva revealed that she had to gain 7 to 8 kilograms for her role in “Ratris Khel Chale” and mentioned on social media that she faced financial losses and disrespect on set.

In 2022, Apurva appeared in the historical show “Swarajya Saudamini Tararani” as Chinnamma on Sony Marathi. That same year, she made a guest appearance in the Marathi serial “Maharashtrachi Hasyajatra” and participated in Colors Marathi’s reality show “Bigg Boss Marathi 4.”

Apurva’s film career began in 2012 with the Marathi movie “Bhakarkhadi 7 km.” She later appeared in several Hindi films as a supporting actress, including “Ishq Wala Love,” “The Accidental Prime Minister,” “Sab Kushal Mangal,” and “Mixer.” In 2015, she played a supporting role as Soumya in the Marathi film “Tu Jivala Guntavave.”

Apart from her work in television and film, Apurva is an accomplished theatre artist.
