Career
Anaswara began her acting journey in 2017 with her debut film “Udaharanam Sujatha,” where she portrayed the character of Athira Krishnan, the rebellious daughter of Sujatha, played by Manju Warrier.
In 2019, she stepped into her first leading role in “Thanneer Mathan Dinangal.” The film, set in a high school, depicted a heartwarming tale of love, misunderstandings, and the challenges of growing up. It turned out to be a sleeper hit, catapulting Anaswara to fame.
The same year, she showcased her versatility by playing a dual role in “Adhyarathri,” portraying both a daughter and a mother. Anaswara continued to impress with her performances in subsequent films. In 2022, she played the title role in “Super Sharanya,” which received positive attention at the box office.
Expanding her horizons, Anaswara made her Tamil cinema debut in 2022 with “Raangi,” starring alongside Trisha. She further solidified her presence in Tamil cinema with her role in “Thugs” in 2023.
In the same year, she made her Hindi debut with “Yaariyan 2” and appeared in “Neru,” a Malayalam film starring Mohanlal, where she portrayed a blind sculptor. Her performance in “Neru” garnered critical acclaim, considered as one of her career best.
Anaswara’s filmography also includes notable roles in films like “Vaanku,” “Aviyal,” and “Mike.” Additionally, she has made appearances in short films, notably her debut in 2015 with “Globe.” Throughout her career, Anaswara has displayed versatility and talent, earning accolades for her performances across different languages and genres.
