In 1983, Singh made her debut in Hindi cinema with the romantic drama “Betaab,” alongside Sunny Deol. The film was a success, setting the stage for her subsequent hits like “Sunny” (1984), “Mard” (1985), and “Saaheb” (1985). She formed successful on-screen pairs with actors like Sunny Deol, Sanjay Dutt, and Raj Babbar, as well as Jeetendra, Vinod Khanna, Anil Kapoor, and Amitabh Bachchan.
Singh showcased her versatility by playing leading roles in films like “Chameli Ki Shaadi” and “Naam” (both 1986), “Khudgarz” (1987), and “Waaris” (1988).
