Career

Abhay Verma grew up in Panipat, Haryana. From a young age, he had a deep interest in studying history and wildlife. Despite his curiosity, he struggled academically and failed three times in school. During his school years, he played cricket at the national level. However, his interest in acting sparked after failing an exam and watching the Hindi film ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’ at a nearby theatre. Inspired by the movie, he decided to pursue a career in acting.

After dropping out of his BBA course, Abhay moved to Mumbai to meet a casting agent. Unfortunately, the encounter with the casting agent was disappointing as he faced an inappropriate casting couch demand. Disheartened, he returned to Panipat but remained determined to succeed in the entertainment industry. He continued auditioning for various modeling assignments and landed his first TV commercial for Hero Passion Bike. His popularity increased with a Cadbury advertisement, and he also walked the ramp at Paris Fashion Week.

Abhay transitioned into acting, appearing in Hindi web series such as ‘The Family Man’ (2019), ‘Marzi’ (2020), and ‘Uljhe Hue’ (2022). In 2020, he starred in the Hindi short film ‘Meri Pehli Bike.’ His growing presence in the industry led him to walk the red carpet at the 75th Cannes Film Festival in 2022.

In 2024, Abhay worked as a co-producer for the Hindi film ‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar.’ He also acted in Hindi films like ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ (2024) and ‘Munjya’ (2024). Throughout his journey, Abhay Verma’s determination and resilience helped him overcome numerous challenges to achieve his dreams in the entertainment world.
