Aadhya Anand, originally from Coorg, India, but raised in Singapore, is an Indian actress, model, and dancer. Her journey in the entertainment industry began at the age of 9 when she made her acting debut in the Singapore-based movie “A Yellow Bird,” which was screened at the International Critics’ Week at the Cannes Film Festival 2016. Following this, she starred in another Singapore-based movie titled “Utter 2016: One Hour to Daylight,” a social drama set in present-day Singapore.

Aadhya gained further recognition through her roles in various Singapore-based projects. She appeared in the commercially successful multi-season series “Whoopie’s World” and played a significant role in the critically acclaimed series “Lion Mums” 2 and 3, “Menantu International 2,” “Word Whizz Slime Pit,” among others. Additionally, she became the first Junior Host of the Zee TV show “Brain Boosters,” which aired in 18 countries across the globe.

Transitioning into the modeling industry, Aadhya appeared in numerous print and television advertising campaigns for brands like Cornetto, Resorts World Sentosa, Universal Studios Singapore, Sensodyne, Reliance, and TVS Jupiter. She also served as the face of Fox Fashion Israel.

Aadhya’s talents and achievements have been recognized with prestigious awards. In 2017, she received the ‘Singtel Young Achiever’s Award’ in Singapore and became the youngest recipient of the ‘Singara Award’ at the International Kannada Cultural Conference held in Singapore the same year.

In March 2021, Aadhya made her debut in the web world with the Netflix original series “Bombay Begums,” where she portrayed one of the leads, Shai Irani. The series explores the stories of five women across generations navigating desire, ethics, personal crises, and vulnerabilities to pursue their ambitions in the contemporary world.

Furthermore, Aadhya’s talent extends to the realm of dance, as evidenced by her victory in the Super Dancer Singapore competition aired on Sony TV.
