Suhana Khan was born on May 22, 2000, in Mumbai, to renowned Hindi film actor Shah Rukh Khan and producer Gauri Khan. She has an older brother named Aryan. Suhana grew up in Mumbai and attended the prestigious Dhirubhai Ambani International School for her schooling.

Later, she completed her high school education at Ardingly College before pursuing further studies at the New York University Tisch School of the Arts in New York City.
